Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Mobile Engineer to oversee preventive maintenance and repairs for mechanical, plumbing, life safety, and control systems within client facilities. You will review work orders, estimate resources, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while leading a team and coaching others.

Responsibilities include managing inspections, coordinating repairs, and implementing preventive maintenance to maximize equipment life.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4–5 years of job-related experience.
• Universal CFC certification and a valid driver’s license required.
• Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs to mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems for the facility.
• Review work orders, estimate time and materials, and maintain inventory of supplies and tools.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to meet or exceed rated life; oversee repairs and emergency maintenance as needed.
• Review inspections of building and industrial systems (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) for operational compliance with design specs.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company safety directives.
• Operate company vehicles in the execution of daily work responsibilities.
• Apply in-depth knowledge to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across multiple disciplines within the function.
• Lead by example and align with CBRE RISE values to build consensus and drive decisions.
• Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within teams and related groups.
• Work within broad guidelines and policies and explain difficult information to stakeholders.
