Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead a team responsible for operating and maintaining a facility or portfolio. You will oversee staff, schedules, and repairs, while supporting project budgets and client relationships.

The role requires a bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and 3–5 years in facilities management, with driver’s license and FM certification preferred. This on-site position offers growth within CBRE’s FM practice.

• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, rewarding performance and retention preferred.
• Ability to guide exchange of sensitive information and set performance expectations.
• Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.

• Advanced math skills for percentages and financial calculations.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees and conduct performance evaluations.
• Schedule and manage the team's daily activities and deadlines.
• Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors and contractors.
• Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.
• Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.
• Perform facility inspections and suggest operational efficiencies and upgrades.
• Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
• Oversee vendor relationships and invoicing; review price quotes for parts and labor.
• Conduct process and procedure training on maintenance, repairs and safety.
• Lead by example and align with CBRE RISE values.
• Identify and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues.
