Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. seeks a Facilities Manager to oversee building operations and maintenance for multiple retail sites in Northwest Michigan. The role is 50% remote work and 50% travel to sites, with a focus on operations, safety, budgeting, and vendor coordination.

You will lead a small team, manage capital projects and budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining strong client relationships. A degree and FM certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license required; Facility Management certification preferred.
• Experience in staffing, training, development, coaching, and performance management.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with analytical thinking.
• Ability to convey complex information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage daily team activities, set schedules and deadlines.
• Coordinate facility repairs and maintenance with vendors and contractors.
• Maintain positive client relationships and resolve issues.
• Prepare capital projects, budgets and variance reports.
• Perform facility inspections and suggest improvements.
• Oversee safety procedures and environmental health practices.
• Review vendor quotes and manage procurement for projects.
• Provide training on maintenance and safety best practices.
• Lead by example in line with CBRE RISE values.
