About The Role
As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you will manage a team responsible for overseeing building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or portfolio of small to medium-sized buildings.
This role is part of the Facilities Management area, focusing on operations of assets and supporting Property Managers with repairs and investment plans.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise employees, monitor training and development, conduct evaluations, and oversee hiring.
- Manage daily team activities, set schedules, assign tasks, and mentor staff.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
- Maintain client relationships and handle unresolved facility issues.
- Manage budgets, capital projects, and variance reports.
- Perform inspections and ensure compliance with regulations; suggest operational improvements.
- Manage environmental health and safety procedures.
- Oversee vendor relationships and invoicing, review quotes.
- Conduct training on maintenance, repairs, and safety.
- Lead by example, embody CBRE values, and influence stakeholders.
- Apply disciplinary knowledge to achieve team and departmental goals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years relevant experience; experience and education may substitute.
- Experience in staffing, training, coaching, and performance management.
- Strong communication skills for handling sensitive information and performance expectations.
- Leadership skills to motivate and improve team performance.
- Excellent organizational skills and a curious mindset.
- Advanced math skills for financial calculations.
