Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a distributed facilities team across multiple sites.
• Oversee maintenance and repair needs across locations.
• Manage and negotiate regional and national vendor contracts and PM programs.
• Oversee capital projects and budgets for equipment and building systems.
• Monitor maintenance trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain facilities reporting and work-order systems.
• Partner with internal teams, landlords, and vendors to resolve issues.
• Travel to locations as business needs require (up to 25%).

Our client, a growing fitness organization, is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance and facility operations across a large portfolio of locations. This role will lead a distributed facilities team, manage vendor relationships and service programs, oversee capital and maintenance budgets, and ensure locations operate efficiently. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of facilities management experience, including experience managing remote employees across multiple sites.

• Responsibilities include leading and developing a distributed facilities team; overseeing maintenance and repair needs across multiple locations; managing and negotiating regional and national vendor contracts and preventative maintenance programs; overseeing capital projects and budgets involving equipment and building systems; monitoring maintenance trends and identifying opportunities to improve service and control costs; maintaining facilities reporting and work-order systems; partnering with internal teams, landlords, and vendors to resolve issues; traveling to locations as business needs require
• The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of facilities management experience, ideally supporting retail or another multi-site environment; experience managing remote or field-based employees; proven success managing vendors, service contracts, and facilities budgets; strong project management skills and the ability to oversee multiple priorities simultaneously; a hands-on, player-coach mentality with the judgment to work independently and manage up effectively; flexibility to travel up to 25% and remain responsive to occasional after-hours facilities needs
