Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services is hiring a Maintenance Technician II to perform PMs and repairs on commercial and industrial facility equipment. You will follow safety guidelines, communicate effectively, and work in a cross-trained team with a flow-to-work approach.

Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, diagnosing issues, repairing HVAC, fire life safety, electrical and plumbing systems, and maintaining building automation.

Qualifications

• HS diploma required or equivalent.
• 4 years’ experience and/or training in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Abides by safety guidelines and OSHA regulations.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose malfunctioning equipment (HVAC, fire life safety, plumbing, electrical).
• Repair systems and components including pumps, valves, wiring, belts, and fittings.
• Document work results in CMMS and manage parts orders and vendor coordination.
• Communicate status and completion dates to customers and staff.
• May lead maintenance projects and supervise subcontractors.
