Job summary

Navy Exchange Service Command at Mayport is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform routine upkeep across two trades, including carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and painting. The position involves maintaining guest rooms and public spaces, using blueprints or manuals when needed, and occasional weekend or holiday shifts in a facility

Qualifications

• Experience in two trades (at least) such as carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or painting.
• Knowledge of safety rules and PPE procedures.
• Ability to perform moderately strenuous physical labor and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance in two trades; maintain work order log and report status to supervisor.
• Repair plumbing components including sinks, faucets, toilets, and water heaters.
• Maintain and repair washers/dryers, including lint duct cleaning and hose replacement.
