Job summary

MID SOUTH in Pensacola, FL is seeking a maintenance trades technician capable of handling refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry and painting tasks across Navy Exchange sites. Qualifications

• Three years of general maintenance work involving a variety of trade practices such as air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry and painting.
• One year of general maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Specialized experience in maintenance across multiple trade disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains and repairs refrigeration and air conditioning units and systems.
• Trace and locate defects using visual, audible and mechanical checks.
• Performs electrical repairs on wiring, controls and fixtures.
• Install plumbing fittings and fixtures and wire up or route wiring as needed.
• Paints interior and exterior surfaces of buildings and related items.
