Job summary

The Navy Exchange Service Command at Mayport Navy Inn is seeking a Maintenance Worker to perform basic building, grounds, and equipment upkeep. Duties include simple painting, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical repairs in a hospitality environment.

You will handle routine maintenance requests, document work orders, and assist guests as needed while ensuring safety standards are followed. This position may require variable shifts and weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• One year of general maintenance experience.
• Experience in painting, plumbing, carpentry, or electrical repairs.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Performs work in at least two trades in maintenance and repairs.
• Maintains work order log and reports status to supervisor.
• Greet guests and assist with luggage, directions, base services, and local information.
• Performs preventive maintenance on equipment and components.
