Qualifications

• One year of general maintenance experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED may substitute for one year of general experience.
• Specialized maintenance experience in painting, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical repairs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and repairs in at least two trades.
• Maintains work order log and reports status to supervisor.
• Greet guests and assist with base services and local information when needed.
• Repair plumbing fixtures, water heaters, and related components.
• Perform routine washer/dryer maintenance and HVAC repairs as needed.
• Identify and repair electrical problems; replace bulbs and ballasts.
• Carry out carpentry tasks such as repairing doors, frames, and drywall.
• Prepare surfaces and apply coatings; ensure complete and clean finishes.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment and maintain tool readiness.
• Comply with safety regulations and report hazards to supervisor.
