Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Stamford, CT is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist with operation troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial buildings and industrial systems, including HVAC, plumbing and building equipment. You will inspect facilities, perform preventative maintenance, respond to emergencies, and support installation or upgrades.

A valid driver’s license and basic computing skills (Outlook, Excel, Word) are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting.
• Technical, vocational or on-the-job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, painting, or plumbing.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Basic computing: Outlook, Excel, Word.
• May require shift work and standby/on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems.
• Inspect facilities for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions and perform preventative maintenance.
• Respond to emergencies and customer service requests.
• Perform carpentry and snow removal when needed.
• Follow safety codes and use building automation systems and mobile devices for work orders.
• Complete CW safety training as scheduled.
