Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist with operations, troubleshooting, diagnostics, housekeeping and repairs on commercial buildings and related systems. You will service pumps, valves, controls, and equipment, install and modify building systems, and handle finishes and carpentry tasks.

The role requires mobility, own tools, and a valid driver's license, with duties including safety and emergency response.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting.
• Technical, vocational, or on-the-job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, painting, plumbing, carpentry or engine repair.

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems.
• Clean, lubricate, and service pumps, valves, electrical, mechanical and hydraulic devices.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Repair finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wallpaper; paint walls and floors.
• Respond to emergencies and service requests; inspect for unsafe conditions; perform preventative maintenance.
