Job summary

Benchmark in Minnesota seeks a facilities maintenance professional to ensure the wellbeing of the plant and equipment across multiple buildings. You will work with Production support and Manufacturing Engineering to keep facilities and equipment in good working order.

Responsibilities include completing preventative maintenance, assisting with plumbing, electrical and HVAC tasks, and coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to perform maintenance tasks with safety awareness.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with diverse teams and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Adjust time clocks and inspect fire extinguishers.
• Maintain and repair furniture and fixtures across buildings.
• Perform preventative maintenance as required.
• Assist with plumbing, electrical, and HVAC for installations.
• Perform routine HVAC maintenance.
• Support building projects and facility moves.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal customers.
• Able to work overtime and on-call as needed.
• Perform repairs and routine servicing of equipment.
