Job summary

Technetics Group seeks a seasoned maintenance technician to perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on production equipment, facilities, and utilities. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures, document actions in the CMMS, and communicate risks and improvements to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three to five years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to independently manage moderate-to-high-complexity maintenance tasks and repairs within established protocols.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, meters, diagnostic tools, and industrial maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, blueprints, and related documentation.
• Working knowledge of industrial safety practices, including Lockout/Tagout.
• Ability to communicate equipment condition, repair status, risk, and recommended next steps clearly and professionally.
• Ability to prioritize assigned work, document maintenance activity accurately, and follow tasks through completion with limited guidance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on production equipment, facilities, utilities, and related support systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment failures.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns with urgency and restore equipment to service safely and efficiently.
• Document maintenance work accurately in the CMMS, including repair actions, parts used, equipment status, and root-cause information.
• Identify and communicate equipment risks, spare parts needs, reliability concerns, and improvement opportunities.
