Job summary

C&W Maintenance is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Utility Technician I to support the operations and maintenance team in keeping facilities and equipment safe, efficient, and reliable. You’ll assist with routine tasks, preventive maintenance, and basic troubleshooting while gaining hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, and building systems.

The role requires basic training in HVAC/electrical/mechanical areas, 1–2 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and CMMS

Qualifications

Technical, vocational, or on-the-job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, building construction, or plumbing.
1–2 years of related experience in facility maintenance.
Valid driver’s license with clean record; may require CDL.
Basic proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Experience using CMMS for work orders.
EPA certification or ability to obtain certification.
High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Assist with troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of building systems.
Support installation, modification, and maintenance of equipment and systems.
Review, create, and maintain work orders in CMMS.
Inspect facilities for unsafe conditions and act on maintenance needs.
Operate fire and life safety systems and related equipment.
