Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Utility Technician I in Midland, TX, to support the facilities team. You will learn and perform hands-on maintenance tasks, assist with basic troubleshooting, and gain exposure to HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems while following safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a technical background, 1–2 years in facility maintenance, and a willingness to obtain EPA certification.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role; hands-on in facilities maintenance.
• Technical, vocational, or on-the-job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, building construction, or plumbing.
• 1-2 years related experience in facility maintenance (preferred).
• EPA certification or ability to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of building systems.
• Support installation, modification, and maintenance of equipment and systems.
• Review/create/maintain work orders in CMMS with documentation.
• Inspect buildings and equipment for safety, perform reactive/preventive maintenance.
• Operate fire/life safety systems and use proper tools and equipment.
