Job summary

U.S. Facilities, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance/Facilities Technicianto support contract compliance and day-to-day building maintenance at designated sites.

You will respond to work orders, assist technicians, and manage CMMS task orders to ensure efficient operations. The role emphasizes hands-on plumbing and HVAC maintenance in industrial and large commercial environments, with a focus on safety, reliability, and service quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required and hands-on plumbing experience is essential.
• QA/QC experience of 2–3 years is preferred.
• Journeyman electrician or HVAC certification is a plus.
• Experience in industrial, large commercial, or logistics distribution environments is preferred.
• Good standing with the applicable state licensing board.

Responsibilities

• Support contract compliance for operations and maintenance tasks.
• Respond to work orders, trouble calls, and hot and cold calls with timely service and feedback.
• Assist technicians and facility attendants in responding to work orders.
• Create and update task orders and work orders in the CMMS as assigned.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment and building systems.
• Operate and perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment and related systems.
• Repair building fixtures, lights, locks, doors, and other fixtures.
• Inspect subcontractor work to ensure contract standards are met.
