U.S. Facilities, Inc. is opening a Maintenance Technician I role in Columbus, GA.

You will respond to work orders, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, and building systems to keep facilities safe and fully operational. The position emphasizes hands-on maintenance, safety, and strong customer service in a fast-paced environment. Applicants should have a HS diploma and relevant trade experience; certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Hands-on plumbing experience required.
• Two to three (2–3) years of QA/QC experience preferred.
• Journeyman electrician or HVAC certification preferred.
• Experience in industrial/large commercial operations preferred.
• Good standing with state licensing board.

Responsibilities

• Respond to work orders and troubleshoot issues on site.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment and systems.
• Assist in maintenance tasks including carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Create and update work orders in the CMMS and ensure contract standards.
• Ensure safety practices and maintain professional client relations.
