Job summary

U.S. Facilities, Inc. in Augusta, GA is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician I to support maintenance operations.

You will respond to work orders, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment, fixtures, and building systems to keep facilities safe, clean, and fully operational. The role requires hands-on plumbing experience, and candidates with HVAC or electrician certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on plumbing experience required.
• Journeyman electrician or HVAC certification preferred.
• Two to three years QA/QC experience preferred.
• Experience in industrial/large commercial or logistics environments preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and reading of diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Respond to work orders and troubleshoot issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Create and update task/work orders in CMMS.
• Inspect and ensure contract compliance and quality standards.
• Maintain safety practices and proper PPE at all times.
