Job summary

U.S. Facilities, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support maintenance operations at facilities in St.

Marys, GA. You will respond to work orders, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related systems. The role requires hands-on experience with plumbing and mechanical maintenance, the ability to read schedules and follow procedures, and a willingness to work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Hands-on plumbing experience required.
• QA/QC experience 2–3 years preferred.
• Journeyman electrician or HVAC certification preferred.
• Experience in industrial/large commercial operations or logistics environments preferred.
• Strong mechanical maintenance knowledge and ability to interpret instructions.

Responsibilities

• Respond to work orders and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide timely service to customers.
• Assist technicians and facility attendants in responding to work orders.
• Create and update task/work orders in the CMMS.
• Maintain HVAC equipment, lighting, plumbing, and general building systems.
• Inspect and repair building fixtures, doors, walls, floors, and signage.
• Ensure safety practices and compliance with contract standards.
