Job summary

CGL Facility Management, LLC is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems at commercial sites. The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining equipment, reading blueprints, and collaborating with subcontractors.

You will diagnose issues using proper testing techniques, ensure safety and compliance with codes, and participate in training and mentoring of junior staff. On-site work with potential on-call shifts is required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of HVAC maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC-related equipment and trades (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, building maintenance).
• Ability to read blueprints and as-built drawings.
• Willing to work occasional on-call shifts.
• EPA 608 Certification required.
• Valid in-state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and some corrective HVAC maintenance per CMMS work orders; document work in CMMS.
• Install, repair, and maintain HVAC machinery and equipment.
• Maintain safe operation of systems and controls.
• Diagnose problems using inspection and testing techniques.
• Learn facility layouts and operating procedures for environmental controls.
• Adhere to safety standards and inspection requirements.
• Escort subcontractors during on-site work.
• Assist in training other technicians when needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and complete required trainings.
