Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician in Plano, TX to support operations on commercial properties. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building systems, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to emergencies with a focus on safety and reliability.

The role requires 2+ years of relevant experience, basic IT skills (Outlook/Excel/Word), and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting.
Competent knowledge of tools and equipment used in facility and ground maintenance.
Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel & Word.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair buildings and installed systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
Repair, replace, and maintain pumps, valves, and mechanical devices; service and lubricate equipment.
Respond to emergencies and safety requests; inspect for unsafe conditions and perform preventive maintenance.
Assist with installation or modification of building equipment and systems and perform snow removal when needed.
Maintain compliance with codes and safety practices; operate building automation and related tech.
