Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Driver's license required.
• 2–4 years of experience in equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Performs facility and equipment maintenance in accordance with codes and standards, documented in CMMS.
• Maintains, troubleshoots and repairs mechanical equipment (motors, pumps, conveyors, doors, fans, boilers, etc.) within defined parameters.
• Maintains patient care equipment (beds, wheelchairs, carts, tables) as needed.
• Maintains mechanical/electrical systems (HVAC, pumps, piping, gas systems, electrical) within defined parameters.
• Performs general maintenance in grounds, carpentry, painting, and snow removal.
• Responds to emergencies and implements repairs per plans.
• Responds to building occupant requests promptly.
• Conducts preventive maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
• Inspects and repairs fire doors, hardware, and firewalls.
