Advocate Health in Macon, GA seeks a Facility Maintenance Technician to perform routine, preventative, and general maintenance across medical center systems, prioritizing safety for patients and staff. The role requires troubleshooting, repair of mechanical and electrical components, and adherence to life safety standards.

You will document work in CMMS, read blueprints, respond to emergencies, and support grounds, carpentry, painting, and snow removal as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
2-4 Years of Experience in equipment maintenance, Strong Painting Skills.
Proficient computer skills such as CMMS, building automation system, Microsoft Office.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

Performs facility and equipment maintenance in accordance with applicable codes and standards via CMMS.
Maintains, troubleshoots and repairs mechanical equipment (motors, pumps, doors, fans, boilers, etc.).
Maintains patient care equipment (beds, wheelchairs, carts, tables).
Maintains mechanical/electrical systems (HVAC, piping, etc.) within defined parameters with guidance.
Conducts general maintenance in grounds, carpentry, painting, and snow removal; responds to emergencies.
