Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Lead Maintenance Trades Specialist at Carolinas Medical Center. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose complex repairs, and manage building, mechanical, electrical, and life-safety systems.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial maintenance, technical training beyond high school, a valid driver’s license, and relevant certifications. The role is full-time, first shift, with after-hours and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relatable industrial/trades maintenance or operations experience.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office and building automation systems.

Responsabilités

• Performs preventive maintenance and technical repairs on complex facility systems.
• Diagnoses and implements complex repairs for multiple utility systems, infrastructure and life-safety systems.
• Installs, replaces and maintains building, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and controls systems.
• Operates and monitors advanced utility equipment and building automation systems to improve efficiency.
• Maintains vacuum, compressed air and medical gas systems; reads blueprints and life-safety drawings.
• Interfaces with vendors and contractors for safe interfacing and tie-ins.
