Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1–3 years of related experience in a commercial property setting.
• Technical, vocational, or on-the-job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, painting, plumbing, carpentry or engine repair.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel & Word.

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems, including machinery, plumbing, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, and carpentry.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wallpaper, and paint walls, piping, floors and equipment.
• Troubleshoot, evaluate, and implement upgrades or savings opportunities for maintenance operations.
• Respond to emergencies and service requests promptly.
• Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions and coordinate preventative maintenance.
• Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems as assigned.
• Comply with codes, regulations, and safety practices; use building automation systems.
• Complete safety training and adhere to dress code.
