Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a diligent maintenance worker to keep the grounds, facility, and equipment in safe, efficient condition in a healthcare setting. The role requires following federal, state, and local standards and our internal policies, directed by a supervisor to support a reliable maintenance program.

Responsibilities include adhering to maintenance schedules, reporting incidents, coordinating with nursing staff, performing routine repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry and HVAC,

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Ability to make independent decisions and to follow instructions.
• Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members and the public.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maintenance schedules are followed as outlined for respective shift or area.
• Report all accidents/incidents to your supervisor.
• Coordinate daily maintenance services with nursing services when performing routine assignments in resident living areas.
• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc.
• Service heating and cooling units/systems as specified by the manufacturer.
• Follow established safety precautions when performing tasks and when using equipment and supplies.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information.
