Job summary

SwipeJobs is seeking a dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in Santa Fe Springs, CA. The role involves general repairs, preventive maintenance, and upkeep in a busy industrial environment.

Training on 1st shift (6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.) is provided. Regular shift is 2:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m. The successful candidate will lift up to 50 pounds, work around industrial equipment, and follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• General handyman and facility maintenance experience.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing and light electrical repairs.
• Ability to troubleshoot routine facility issues independently.
• Dependable attendance and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and use ladders safely.
• Comfortable around industrial equipment, noise, dust, oils, and grease.

Responsibilities

• Complete basic plumbing, light electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repairs
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment
• Maintain shop floors, restrooms, break areas, offices, and outdoor areas
