Vision Staffing Solutions LLC is seeking a reliable Facilities Maintenance Janitor to keep a busy machine shop clean and safe in Santa Fe Springs, CA. The role supports an oil and coolant heavy environment with PPE and safety requirements.

The position runs on the 2nd shift (2:30 PM–11:00 PM); training on the 1st shift (6:00 AM–2:30 PM) may be required. Pay ranges from $22 to $24 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable with a strong work ethic and able to work independently in a noisy industrial environment.
• Experience handling cleaning chemicals safely is preferred.
• Willingness to train on first shift before second shift.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub floors including oil, grease, and coolant cleanup.
• Remove metal shavings and industrial waste; empty trash and recycling.
• Clean restrooms, break areas, and shop workstations; wipe down machine exteriors (no operation).
• Operate floor scrubbers, pressure washers and industrial vacuums.
• Follow OSHA and safety rules; keep supplies stocked.

We’re hiring a reliable Facilities Maintenance Janitor to keep a busy machine shop clean, safe, and running smoothly. If you can stay productive, work independently, and handle an industrial environment, this is for you.

What You’ll Do:

• Sweep, mop, scrub floors (oil, grease, coolant cleanup)

• Remove metal shavings & industrial waste

• Empty trash/recycling

• Clean restrooms, break areas & shop workstations

• Wipe down machine exteriors (no machine operation)

• Use floor scrubbers, pressure washers & industrial vacuums

• Follow OSHA & safety rules

• Keep supplies stocked

• Operates forklift
• Strong work ethic & steady pace

• Comfortable around oils, coolants, metal dust

• Knows how to handle cleaning chemicals safely

Pay rate:

• $22-$24 per hour. Depending on experience
