Job summary

Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond is seeking a dependable Maintenance Mechanic in the Facilities Management Department. You will perform light maintenance and preventive services at our Richmond location, reporting to the Building Services Supervisor.

Responsibilities include furniture installation, room setups, basic repairs, document transport for shredding, and seasonal cleanup, all while adhering to OSHA standards and using the work order system to log tasks and time.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Proficient ability with personal computers and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Install simple office furniture and arrange rooms for conferences and events.
• Perform scheduled inspections for service and preventive maintenance on non-complex equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair non-complex accessories and fixtures throughout the facility.
• Transport confidential documents for shredding.
• Perform snow and ice removal and weather-related cleanup.
• Comply with OSHA safety regulations in assigned tasks.
