The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond is seeking a dependable Maintenance Mechanic to support facility upkeep at the Richmond location. You will perform light maintenance, routine repairs, and preventive services while following OSHA safety rules and using the work order system to log tasks.

Ideal candidates have furniture installation experience (brands like Steelcase or Knoll), basic PC skills, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Experience installing furniture from brands such as Enhanced 9000, Steelcase, Montage, and Knoll.
• Ability to operate basic office productivity software and equipment.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Performs installation of simple office furniture apparatus and room setups for conferences and events.
• Conducts scheduled inspections for preventive maintenance on non-complex equipment and fixtures.
• Performs routine troubleshooting and repairs to non-complex accessories and fixtures.
• Transports confidential documents for shredding.
• Snow/ice removal and inclement weather cleanup.
• Tasks recorded in the work order system after completion.
