Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a UNION Maintenance Mechanic to perform non-technical building maintenance, custodial tasks, and light repairs across properties in the Philadelphia area. The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and responsive support for engineers and facilities teams.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, an apprentice program or trade school background, and at least 1 year of relevant commercial property experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Participation in apprentice program or trade school.
• 1+ year of related experience in a commercial property setting preferred.
• Mechanically inclined; may be required to work extended periods, overtime, or on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance under close supervision.
• Perform custodial duties, grounds maintenance, and minor maintenance/repair work.
• Assist engineers with loading/unloading materials, moving items, and project support.
• Replace door hardware, locks, keys, and fixtures; perform interior and exterior painting.
• Move furniture and set up spaces; respond to emergencies and service requests promptly.
• Comply with applicable codes, regulations and safe work practices; maintain cleanliness of facilities.
