Job summary

FirstService Residential in Miami is seeking a Maintenance Staff Member to ensure all mechanical systems and equipment operate safely and that common areas are clean, disinfected, and visually appealing.

The role involves routine floor inspections, completing daily work orders, minor carpentry/electrical/plumbing/HVAC/painting tasks, and maintaining a safe work environment. Benefits include medical plans, dental, vision, paid holidays and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Routinely walks floors and reports problems to supervisors.
• Follows safety precautions and maintains a safe work environment.
• Performs minor maintenance tasks in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, flooring and other building repairs.
• Completes daily work orders and maintains equipment in good condition.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various positions as required.
