Job summary

Columbia Post Acute is seeking a Maintenance Worker responsible for grounds, facility, and equipment upkeep to ensure safety and efficiency in compliance with applicable standards.

You will follow maintenance schedules, coordinate with nursing staff, report incidents, perform routine repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry), and maintain a clean, safe environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a 10th grade education.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and schedules.
• Basic math skills for measurements and fractions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds, parking areas, and facilities as directed.
• Perform routine repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical areas.
• Follow safety procedures and report accidents/incidents promptly.
• Coordinate daily maintenance with nursing services for resident areas.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and keep work areas tidy.
