Job summary

Grandview Post Acute is seeking a maintenance associate to uphold grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe, compliant manner. You will follow established maintenance schedules, coordinate with nursing teams, and report incidents as required.

Responsibilities include routine upkeep of building systems, light fixtures, and general housekeeping in resident areas. The position requires a minimum 10th grade education and the ability to work with care and tact around residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and accept constructive criticism.
• Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.

Responsibilities

• Follow maintenance schedules for respective shift or area.
• Report all accidents/incidents to supervisor.
• Coordinate daily maintenance with nursing services when working in resident living areas.
• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, and facility/equipment (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical)
• Replace bulbs and service lighting (exit, overhead, fluorescent, room call lights).
• Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of equipment; report malfunctions promptly.
• Assist with safety precautions and lifting heavy equipment as directed.
