Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance on basic facility systems and document tasks in the CMMS. You will assist in troubleshooting issues and ensure reliable operation of the building infrastructure.

You will support fire alarm and fire protection systems, assist in installing hardware, read blueprints, and maintain compliance records. Shift work may require on-call rotation and travel within the site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Advanced technical training beyond high school.
• 2–4 years experience in relatable industrial maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Conducts preventive maintenance tasks on basic facility systems and documents tasks in the CMMS.
• Assists in evaluating and troubleshooting basic building system failures and performs repairs as directed.
• Operates and monitors basic Utility System Infrastructure; maintains fire alarm/protection systems.
• Supports installation of building hardware and electrical devices; reads blueprints and maintenance manuals.
