Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a skilled facilities maintenance professional to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on complex building systems. You will diagnose, install and maintain MEP and controls, operate and monitor advanced equipment, and read blueprints and Life Safety drawings to ensure safe, compliant operations.

The role requires 4+ years in industrial maintenance, strong communication, and BAS knowledge.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in industrial/trades maintenance or operations.
• Ability to work with minimal oversight and strong technical skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Familiarity with compliance codes and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility systems.
• Diagnose and repair Utility and Infrastructure Systems.
• Install/replace and maintain building, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and controls.
• Operate and monitor utility equipment and BAS for troubleshooting.
• Read blueprints and Life Safety drawings for tasks.
• Work shifts and on-call to provide 24/7 coverage.
