Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services in the United States is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to complete required PMs and repairs across commercial and industrial facilities. The role emphasizes safety, communication, and ownership, with cross-training and a flow-to-work approach.

The technician will perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life-safety, and related systems, document results in CMMS, and coordinate with customers and subcontractors. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; business/trade courses preferred.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry basics.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools and read maintenance docs.
• Proficiency with CMMS and building automation software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems.
• Inspect and repair building equipment; document findings in CMMS.
• Order parts, manage vendors, and support project meetings as needed.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers about status and timelines.
• May supervise subcontractors and travel for site work.
