Job summary

EMCOR Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on commercial and industrial facility equipment. The role requires strong communication, ownership, and cross-training with a focus on safety and efficient problem solving.

You will conduct rounds, diagnose issues, and coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure uptime. A HS diploma and 4 years of related experience are preferred, with opportunities to advance and obtain required licenses.

Qualifications

• 4 years’ experience and/or training in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry skills required.
• High School diploma or equivalent; preference for related business/trade training.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain Scissor Lift and JLG operator licenses within 2 months.

Responsibilities

• Abides by safety guidelines including OSHA regulations and lock-out/tag-out.
• Conducts shift rounds to identify issues and document performance.
• Performs preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems.
• May manage maintenance projects and supervise subcontractors.
• Documents work results in the CMMS and communicates status to customers.
