Job summary

U-Haul in Washington is seeking a dependable Facility Maintenance Technician to support multiple sites with electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general building tasks. You will inspect, maintain and repair facilities, coordinate with fellow technicians and complete work requests promptly.

The role requires 18+ years, a valid driver's license and DOT certification (sponsorable). On-the-job training through U-Haul University and opportunities for advancement are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, A/C, HVAC, plumbing or landscaping.
• Valid driver's license.
• D.O.T certification (can be sponsored by U-Haul).
• Must be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and build new buildings.
• Perform general maintenance, installation, repair and service.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and semiannual roof inspections at various sites.
• Effectively work with a variety of hand/power tools.
• Pool knowledge with other Facility Maintenance Technicians to accomplish complex projects.
• Complete work requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Keep track of company truck and gas card.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
