Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician in a hands-on role to inspect, maintain and build facilities across sites.

You will work with other technicians to complete projects, use a variety of tools and participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University. The role requires experience in electrical, A/C, HVAC, plumbing or landscaping, a valid driver’s license, and a D.O.T certification (sponsorship available).

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, A/C, HVAC, plumbing or landscaping.
• Valid driver’s license.
• D.O.T certification (can be sponsored by U-Haul).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and build new buildings.
• Perform general maintenance, installation, repair and service.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and semiannual roof inspections at various sites.
• Effectively work with a variety of hand/power tools.
• Collaborate with other Facility Maintenance Technicians on complex projects.
• Complete work requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Keep track of company truck and gas card.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
