Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to inspect, maintain and build new buildings, perform general and preventive maintenance, and support a variety of projects at multiple sites. You will work with hand and power tools, complete work orders promptly, manage fleet gas cards, and participate in ongoing training through U-Haul University.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, A/C, HVAC, plumbing or landscaping.
• Valid driver’s license
• D.O.T certification (can be sponsored by U-Haul)

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and build new buildings.
• Perform general maintenance, installation, repair and service.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and semiannual roof inspections at various sites.
• Effectively work with a variety of hand/power tools.
• Pool knowledge with other Facility Maintenance Technicians to accomplish complex projects.
• Complete work requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Keep track of company truck and gas card.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
