Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a motivated Facility Maintenance Technician to collaborate with fellow technicians on complex projects across multiple sites. You will leverage electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or landscaping skills to inspect, maintain, and install equipment and systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, A/C, HVAC, plumbing or landscaping.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• DOT certification is supported by U-Haul.
• Must be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and build new buildings.
• Perform general maintenance, installation, repair and service.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and roof inspections at various sites.
• Effectively work with a variety of hand/power tools.
• Pool knowledge with other Facility Maintenance Technicians to accomplish complex projects.
• Complete work requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Keep track of company truck and gas card.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
