Job summary

Aurora Health Care is seeking a Maintenance/Groundskeeper to perform routine repairs, landscaping, and general upkeep of facilities in Milwaukee. The role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma, and the ability to work independently with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities include minor repairs, preventive maintenance, snow removal, and maintaining logs. The position is on-site with standard facilities management duties and safety adherence.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of routine maintenance and groundskeeping tasks.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain records.

• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine, non-skilled repairs (carpentry, plumbing, changing light bulbs, replacing filters).
• Maintains equipment in good working order and performs minor repairs.
• Performs preventative maintenance inspections and logs activities.
• Monitors building temperature and reports unusual conditions.
• Maintains inventory of parts and tools for building/grounds repairs.
• Moves furniture/equipment as needed and keeps property clean.
• Cuts/maintains landscaping and waters plants; replaces sod as needed.
• Removes snow from sidewalks, entrances, parking lots, driveways, and rooftops.
• Cleans parking structures and surrounding paved areas.
