Job summary

Allied Residential, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance operations, lead a field team, coordinate repairs and renovations, and ensure safety and quality across the property.

This role requires strong planning, budgeting, and vendor management, with a focus on reliable service, cost control, and resident satisfaction through well-maintained facilities.

Qualifications

• Leadership and supervision experience in maintenance or facilities management.
• Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical instructions and documents.
• Basic math and measurement skills, including algebra and geometry.
• Commitment to professionalism and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facilities and equipment to determine service needs and staffing requirements.
• Assign and oversee maintenance, repair, and renovation tasks; secure bids for outside contractor work.
• Direct contracted projects to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.
• Purchase building and maintenance supplies, machinery, and equipment.
• Plan, track, and manage the maintenance department budget.
• Maintain records of labor, materials, and costs; prepare cost reports for management.
• Review and recommend contractor bids for approval.
• Support property upkeep, including cleaning and unit turnovers as needed.
• Participate in regular meetings and training sessions.
• Promote safe work practices and address safety and security concerns.

Education

One-year certificate or related training

Leadership experience supervising a maintenance team
