Job summary

Allied Residential is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the property maintenance team, oversee daily operations, and manage vendor relationships to keep facilities in peak condition for residents.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate from a college or technical school or related experience.
• Proven leadership skills with experience supervising a maintenance team.
• Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, correspondence, and basic technical documents.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Physical ability to perform property inspections and maintenance work.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facilities and determine service needs, resources and staffing.
• Assign and oversee maintenance tasks; secure bids for external work.
• Direct contracted projects ensuring adherence to specs and quality.
• Purchase building and maintenance supplies, machinery, and equipment.
• Plan, track, and manage the maintenance department budget.
• Maintain records of labor, materials, and costs; prepare cost reports.
• Review contractor bids for approval.
• Support property upkeep including cleaning and unit turnovers.
• Participate in regular meetings and training sessions.
• Promote safe work practices and address safety concerns promptly.
