Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics seeks a Facilities Supervisor to lead maintenance activities in the USA Lancaster facility. You will manage a team performing repairs across plumbing, carpentry, painting, mechanical, electrical and custodial tasks, while ensuring safe operations and timely preventive maintenance.

You will oversee equipment upkeep, identify hazards, and coordinate with site management on inspections and repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; maintenance certs or degree preferred.
• 5+ years general facilities maintenance and repair experience.
• Ability to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain building and equipment; oversee a team performing repairs in plumbing, carpentry, painting and electrical.
• Lead preventative maintenance programs and routine inspections of HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Inspect and repair building and equipment; ensure daily operation of material handling gear.
• Identify safety hazards and ensure a safe work site during repairs.
• Diagnose issues and recommend resolutions; perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Operate equipment: sit-down/stand-up forklift, scissor lift, pallet jack, etc., and maintain forklift certification.
• Assist in grounds maintenance and keep warehouse clean and compliant with SOPs and OSHA standards.
