Job summary

DSV Lancaster facility is looking for a Facility Specialist, Maintenance who will ensure safe and efficient operation of the facility and equipment. Responsibilities include basic repairs across plumbing, carpentry, painting, mechanical, electrical, and custodial tasks, with potential assignments to other departments as needed.

The role requires 1+ year in facilities maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, and active forklift certification.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year facilities maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Able to work in warehouse temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain building and equipment condition; supervise others who perform general maintenance.
• Perform or coordinate preventative maintenance on building and equipment systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc).
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair facility equipment and furnishings.
• Identify and correct safety hazards; maintain safe work site during repairs and maintenance.
• Assist in determining problem sources and recommend resolutions; perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Operate common tools and equipment, maintain forklift certification.
