Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Facilities Supervisor, Maintenance to ensure safe and efficient facility and equipment condition. You will train and develop a team to perform maintenance and simple repairs across plumbing, carpentry, painting, mechanical, electrical, and custodial tasks.

Strong leadership, forklift certification, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict adherence to safety and SOPs are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED required, maintenance certifications or degree preferred.
• 5+ years of general facilities, systems maintenance, and repair work experience.
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Maintain condition of building and equipment and manage maintenance staff.
• Perform and supervise preventative maintenance on building and equipment systems.
• Inspect, repair and ensure daily operation of building and material handling equipment.
• Identify safety hazards and ensure a safe work site; adhere to SOPs and OSHA/MSDS standards.
• Lead a team, coach and develop others, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Work flexible and on-call schedule as dictated by business needs.
