Job summary

Sysco Jacksonville is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to oversee ammonia refrigeration, HVAC, and facility equipment. You will lead a team of maintenance colleagues, coordinate with outside contractors, and ensure safe, efficient operations across the warehouse and dock areas.

You will develop maintenance procedures, monitor logs and budgets, and drive adherence to safety and food safety standards, while actively performing repairs when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of supervisory maintenance experience.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems and facility equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on repairs and maintenance of ammonia refrigeration, HVAC, and fire protection systems.
• Supervise up to ~20 maintenance and sanitation staff; coordinate with management.
• Develop and implement preventive/corrective maintenance procedures.
• Plan staffing, budgets, and work orders; ensure safety compliance and food safety standards.
